Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation

No, we provide care to all persons regardless of religious or non-religious affiliation.
Our Therapy Department is open 7 days per week. Residents most often attend therapy 5-6 days per week.
Yes, dogs and cats would need to be on a leash or in a carrier. Please provide proof of vaccinations upon first visit.
You can visit any time. We do ask that you respect others during your visits in the early morning or late night hours.
Though we do not have a kosher kitchen, we can provide a kosher diet if you eat vegetarian style. Other diets can be provided by our dining services.
Mother Angeline is in-network with Medicare, United HealthCare, MediGold, Aetna & Molina MyCare Ohio plans. Other plans may have out-of-network benefits which would be verified upon request.
We do not require a specific time period of private pay. Residents could be admitted on Medicaid.
No, residents are not required to eat in the neighborhood dining rooms. We do strongly encourage eating in the dining rooms as it provides the opportunity to make friendships and feel part of our community.
No medications are provided by the pharmacy. Short term rehab residents' medication would be paid for by Medicare and/or insurance coverage. Long term residents' medications will be billed to your Medicare Part D prescription plan. At times, the Medicare Part D plans have copays which may be the responsibility of the resident.

Independent Living

No. Many of our residents are Catholic, but members of all religious or non-religious affiliations are welcome.
There is a wait list and the duration is based on many variables. Feel free to discuss this with the Independent Living manager when you apply.
No, in Independent Living, you pay only for the apartment you rent.
There is no endowment fee at The Villas. There is a $500 security deposit held against any damage to the apartment beyond normal wear and tear.
Meals are not included in your monthly rental but are available either as a monthly plan or à la carte allowing you the flexibility to determine what you choose to use.
The Villas does permit small pets. The $250 pet deposit would apply but there is no additional charge per month.
The Villas rent includes electric, water and trash. Residents are responsible for telephone, cable TV and internet.
There is no medical assistance in Independent Living. All residents are provided a life safety pendant so if a medical emergency were to occur in your apartment, you would have access to EMT service.

Assisted Living

No. Many of our residents are Catholic, but members of other faiths are welcome.
Yes. Rent in Assisted Living includes electric, water, trash, and basic cable. Each apartment has climate control with their own thermostat. Residents do need to provide their own phone and internet service.
A security officer is on duty at The Villas from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM each night. The officer makes rounds of the facility every 2 hours.
Yes. In Assisted Living we have nurses on staff 24/7 as well as State Tested Nurse Aides (STNA).
No. Many of our employees in Assisted LIving have been at The Villas for 7-10 years or more.
You can visit any time. We do ask that you respect others during your visits in the early morning or late night hours. If you are taking the resident out of the building, please make staff aware, especially if they will be missing a meal or it is an overnight stay.
Yes. In Assisted Living, nurses distribute medicines as prescribed.
In Assisted Living at The Villas, shopping opportunities are available using The Villas van as part of the activity schedule, e.g. Kroger, Dollar Tree, Walmart. In Assisted Living, family members transport their loved one to doctor appointments.
Yes. In Assisted Living, if a resident does not arrive for a meal or activity, a staff member does go to their room and remind them. A monthly calendar is provided to each Assisted Living resident with the month's activities as scheduled by our Activity Director.
Yes. The pet must be small in size and the resident must be able to attend to the needs of the pet.
No. The Villas rent is private pay.
No, but many residents have been very creative in their apartments.
This is a difficult question to answer. For Assisted Living, we would recommend completing application paperwork. Then, when the appropriate room is available, you will be contacted. At times, rooms are available on a walk-in basis, but sometimes there may be a short wait.
